May 5: Gregg Marshall Golf Classic

Support Wichita State University’s basketball program, and perfect your game—all on the same day. A shotgun start at 9 a.m. kicks off a day of golf with WSU head coach Gregg Marshall. May 12: 19th Annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Memorial Golf Tournament

May 16: The Entercom Golf Classic

All Saints Home Care presents this four-person scramble to benefit the Independent Living Resource Center. The 18-hole competition has players vying for trophies and gifts while raising money for a good cause. Registration starts at 11 a.m., with tee times at noon. $125 per person. May 18: Woody Austin Clinic and Dinner

Spend an evening with Woody Austin, and get some golf tips from a bonafide PGA pro. After the golf clinic, sit down and enjoy dinner as Austin talks about his life as a pro golfer. The Wichita Children’s Home also hosts live and silent auctions throughout the night, including the big prize of a round of golf at Crestview with Austin. $60 per person. 5:30 p.m. Registration is required. May 19: “Fore the Kids” Golf Tournament

Play “Fore the Kids” in the Wichita Children’s Home 25th annual golf tournament, with shotgun starts at 7:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Teams on the north course can play the 8th hole with Woody Austin, the two-time PGA winner. Crestview Country Club is the post-round hotspot for dinner and a clinic with Woody during the weekend. Cost is $200 for womens’ teams, $250 for mens’ and co-ed team. June 16: Ronald McDonald House 2008 Benefit Golf Tournament

In its 22nd year, this tournament benefits Ronald McDonald House, which has served more than 20,000 families. Find three friends to play, and join the fun in this four-person scramble. $350 per person or $1,400 per team. July 23: Hispanic Chamber Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

July 28: American Family Insurance Golf Classic

Avid golfers come out for this annual tournament. Last year, the golf classic and poker tournament raised more than $24,000 for the Starkey Foundation. This year expect to see some exciting and enthusiastic competition during a lively 4-person scramble. Cost is $150 per person with breakfast and lunch. August 4–10: Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open

Get ready for a whole week’s worth of golf, food and a concert during arguably Wichita’s most popular golf tourney, the Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open.
