January 12–13: Bridal & Prom Expo
Alpha Promotions kicks off the year with this giant expo for brides and prom queens. The show offers stunning fashions for weddings or prom with about 150 vendors and a $10,000 grand prize. January 19–20: Winter Wedding Showcase
If you’re willing to take a drive, Perfect Wedding Guide hosts the Winter Wedding Showcase in Topeka. The show features more than 100 of northeast Kansas’ finest wedding vendors. There’s a fashion show and thousands of dollars in prizes. $10. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Kansas Expocentre, One Expocentre Dr., Topeka. March 9: Wedding Ideas
The Wedding Ideas Bridal Showcase presents two big events per year. The first happens March 9 at the Broadview Hotel. Watch demonstrations and sign up for prizes. Every vendor offers a giveaway, and there are even drawings a honeymoon and free DJ service. The show features about 50 vendors. $5. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Broadview Hotel, 400 W. Douglas. April 6: Perfect Wedding Guide’s Spring Show
During Perfect Wedding Guide’s spring show, see more than 180 of Kansas City’s top wedding vendors and two fashion shows. July 20: A Wedding Affair
The Wedding Affair bridal show comes to the Wichita Marriott on July 20. Edye Wright, owner of Wright Focus Photography, has presented this show for the past 18 years. The event showcases one of each type of vendor, all of which donate prizes. A fashion show starts at 2:30 p.m. Stick around—there’s also a drawing for a dream honeymoon getaway. July 26–27: Bridal & Holiday Expo

The Bridal and Holiday Expo is a smaller show than the January expo, but it boasts a $20,000 grand prize and giveaways from each of the 100 merchants. November 23: More Great Ideas
